Oregon Zoo

We've been to Oregon Zoo in Portland's Washington Park. In the first place, I wanted to go to Portland to see the japanese garden, but it was closed for renovation shortly after we got there. Bummer! well, not really, on vacation nothing can bring me down :p

So we went to the zoo, even though we never thought we would ever go, especialy after spending so much time last year in Chicago Lincoln Park zoo (entrance is free by the way in Chicago)

 

I love taking pictures of animals. Especially orangutans. It's always kind of sad as well. That's a zoo alright.
