5 Days with Jess

Jess recently moved in a caravan in a camping in Bretagne. I promptly visited her in this new life of hers. I love caravan life and camping. So does she.

After about 9 hours on a bus I eventually got there at 6 in the morning.

I chugged down two dozen oysters and a bunch of bulots upon arriving. I needed that.

Jess <3

Her little garden (I bought the daisy fence for her )

Always with me.

Blowing bubbles was one of our main activities during my stay. Yes, we are Spongebob and Patrick.

I bought alcohol ink markers  for really cheap. I love them!!!
I made two paintings for Jess to hang in her caravan while there. One of my garden and one of hers.

New friend, Goon the cat.

Beauty masks. Come on, make us irristible!

Feast!!! No veggies, just barbecued meat.

Playing farmer girl.

Second painting I did. this is Jess's garden.

Queen Beefy.

My garden, finished.

Looks like there's a big fire but it's just the barbecue. This picture cracks me up.

Queen Beefy. Again.

Dainty decor.

We spent a couple of nights reading in the caravan. How I loved it!!! Just sat there reading next to this girl...Bliss!

Straight from the 70's!

It was a fun 5 days with Jess. :)
Ha the memories... These pictures make me smile.

Coulée Verte / Promenade Plantée / Parc de Vincennes

On May 31st we took a walk on La Promenade Plantée, such a beautiful place to walk  in Paris.
It reminds me a lot about New York's High Line. You walk for a while on a path that must have been a railroad track above the street, and at some point you end up in nature surrounded by walls of greenery. It's really magical and I can't do it justice explaining.
I only took pictures of the beginning of the walk. :/

Love the red brick buildings.

Crazy balcony.

White peacock up a tree!!

We ended up at the Vincennes park, quite a walk. We came back by the Metro. :p

I took a few cuttings of passiflora along the way :) Had to be clever for them not to die during our walk. I poured a bit of water into one of my film roll box, put the cuttings in the water, and wrapped it all in paper the sandwiches we bought came in. The cuttings survived and are thriving as I'm writing this 2 months later.
This makes me so excited!!!
ps: water propagation works well with passion flowers!

May 2018

I found this chest on the streets of Paris and brought it to my grand pa's so we could fix it together.

I spray painted it mint green. It was fun to do that together.

New bookshelf for my TBR books. It's pretty rare to find wine crates on the street nowadays. I was so glad to find this little top one.

My grand pa celebrated his 85th birthday. He threw quite a big party on July 22nd. I made the invitations for him.

I LOOOOOOVE my backpack!!!

Living the good life. Reading and ice cream.

I discovered this beer in 2018, boy did it change my life and my taste in beers. It is freaking delicious.

Growing in the tiny greenhouse.

Hawaian vibes

My reading nook in May.
