Bretagne on Film

Here are my last pictures from Bretagne, the ones from my film camera. I'm pretty disappointed, they don't look as 'good' as the oes I took o our previous trip.

Carnac

Lunch at the caravan. I love this life!

Butterfly garden in Vannes.

Another Ice Cream in Quiberon. The look of bliss. :)

Charming house in Concarneau.

Pont Aven

Self portrait in the caravan. For once I didn't mess up too bad taking a self portrait! It's not out of focus, yeah! I'm thinking of taking a whole roll of self portrait to train myself a little.

Sunset on Merrien Beach

Le Pouldu

Jess and her bulldog Biffy.

Last day in Vitré

Finally back. My grand pa and his many cars.

Making things and Winning Things

Ever since I came back from my vacation I've been feeling great! Rather inspired and I'm finally crossing things off my to-do list.
I also decided to make completely new brooches for my Etsy shop. I've been neglecting it for so long now. For some reason what I make for the French market doesn't sell at all anywhere else. So I made these way more personnal brooches. They are all free hand embroidered which I'm rather proud of :p I don't draw the pattern on the felt first,

I made this one this morning :) Boobs and hairy armpit! It's funny because I don't think those broches would sell in France, and I already sold one uterus brooch to the US.
Well, I'm not sure at all I'll make more sales on Etsy but at least I feel confortable putting those up for all the American customers. I didn't put them in my french shop. Not quite yet.

I also made yet another boeuf bourguignon with my julia Child's cookbook. :) And what's cooking without drinking wine at the same time I ask you?

I haven't had a chance to share the last vacation pictures from my phone yet. So here we go! I bought this cute little dress in Quiberon. I'm so in love with it! I can't wait to wear it more! I might need to wash it though :p

Saturday night in the trailer, tea, sewing and the Simpsons...It doesn't get any better than this!

Sleeping time in the trailer in my Spongebob T-shirt.

Laundry day! I didn't bring enough panties so I had to wash a few. there were a nice decorative touch to the trailer.

With Biffy, my best friend's dog.

My Grand Pa and another ice cream cone... More pictures from the trip to come when I get back my rolls on paper from the shop. :)

In other news I won this adorable little girl on Instagram! I never participate to giveaways, but this time, I don't know, I just wanted to be in on the fun. I love her eyes. I've been following the making of this doll on Dark Manor Dolls'Instagram and her eyes really won my heart! When Rose, the lovely girl behind Dark Manor Dolls launched the giveaway I knew I had to give it a shot!
I can't wait to have her! As soon as I receive the package I'll take her around Paris and take pictures everywhere! :)

You can find Rose's dolls here on Etsy.

And just because, here are a bunch of pictures of this little bugger. I swear he must have been a model in another life, he's always posing for the camera. I must say that all the time...
Time to get back to work now. ;)

Back from Bretagne (Warning: Photo Dump!!)

I got back back yesterday from my 10day getaway in Bretagne with my Grand pa. It was very relaxing and I realize how much I needed a break. Especially with this guy! He's so fun and easy going. When I took the picture above he said: 'I'm a flower amongst flowers!'. A rare one too! :)

This is the city of Vannes. We spent the first few days of the trip there camping in the trailer. Very nice city and we were lucky to have such a beautiful weather! In France, Bretagne has the terrible reputation of having horrible weather, rain all the time. We had one rainy day. Locals say it only rains on stupid people.

Six o'clock at the trailer. Time for a drink! :) Probably my favorite time of the day.

This is Carnac. It is very famous here in France with all the dolmens. And they are pretty intriguing since no one knows what they were. At least some of them are good for sitting.

Locmariaquer

Oyster lunch.

In Vannes we visited the butterfly garden. It is a rather small greenhouse but it was awesome!!! I was so excited to go there, I felt like an 8year old all the way going to this place. I couldn't wait to take pictures of the butterflies. I was trully boiling inside!

Then we went to the aquarium which was right next door to the butterfly garden.

This guy has been caught in Paris sewer system of Paris in 1984. I couldn't take a good picture of the whole crocodile because he was the star of the aquarium. So many people were standing there right in front of him.

This is the ugliest fish I've ever seen! Plus he seemed mean too, he would look at me right in the eye and bump his chin into the glass. :) Poor guy.

Typical night in the trailer. My little mess.

I don't know what these flowers are but they sure were pretty.

Concarneau

One of the reasons why I wanted to go to Bretagne is because my best friend, Jess, lives there. She has been for a year now and it had been two years since I had seen her. We spend a whole day with her in Concarneau and Pont Aven. I bought us rings. :)

This picture cracks me up! We laughed so hard the whole time we were together anyway. She is just  the funniest person I know.

Animals love him... Really! Every single time we travel together, all the cats of the neighborhood come to him to be pet! Jess's dog was all over him too.

His 103rd ice cream of the trip...

Pont Aven. Beatiful little town! Really breathtaking! I'll have, hopefully, more and better pictures of it when I get my rolls back from the lab.

Le Pouldu.

On the last day we spent the night in Vitré(where my cat comes from! He was sent from the shelter in Vitré to the shelter near my house where I got him).

And that's the end of our very nice trip. I can't wait to see the pictures from my film camera. I take everything and anything with my digital one.

Back to real life now, I have a huge to-do list -_-'
Happy week end! :)
