Life Lately

Life has been pretty good lately. A lot of free time, a job I like. After the horrible start 2015 had for me, I'm finally breathing. Since the year is coming to an end, I'm really counting my blessings.

Flash light test. Not so good. I bought a Minolta a few months ago, it came with a flash. I only realized recently it was compatible with my Canon. That's some powerful flash.

Hello

My Grand Pa cooking scallops.

Yum.

Reading crime and punishment.

Little critter and his big round beautiful eyes.

Putting together an Ikea piece of furniture for me.

I had barely the time to put my stuff on it, it was already a cat tree.
I love these little shelves though, they hold all of my supplies. I know everybody owns them, but that's OK! I'm a sucker for this color too.

Mine!

See ya!

Sunday in Andresy

A few weeks ago we went to Andresy for a lunch at an old family friend's house.
We took the train from Gare Saint Lazare. I love this station, the glass roof is beautiful

Whenever I'm there, it always reminds me of this painting by Monet. I guess it hasn't changed much since he painted this.

Champagne, paté, bread, wine, cheese, people I've known since I was born...
I ate too much, probably drank too much too.

My Mom and Gerard.

A wonderful little cake.

On the way home. Food coma.

Aftermath: Love and Laughters

As I was saying in my previous post, my friend Estelle came over on the sunday after the Paris attacks. We spent the day eating, drinking wine, laughing and taking pictures all over Paris. The streets were filled with people on foot. Children were at the carousels, or running, tourists were casually strolling, parisians were having drinks in bars... It was such a beautiful day, sunny and peaceful. The calm after the storm.

'I am alive.'

'Love'

It was an awesome day. Exactly what I needed.

Playing with Light

What a beautiful Sunday morning. Sunshine was pouring in the partment, it was on November 15, 2 days after the attacks in Paris, and it was like the sun knew what happened and wanted to cheer up.

I was waiting for my friend Estelle to come over, it had been planned for weeks and usually when she comes, we take our cameras and roam in Paris to take tons of pictures. We decided that what had happened on Friday wouldn't stop us from doing what we normally do.

Family

A wednesday at my Grand Pa's, eating oysters.

We met my Mom and she cut his hair.

Of course I took a few minutes to goof around with my camera.

The baby blue ring at the bottom of my ring finger was my Grand Ma's. It's my favorite ring. I finally took the time to clean it, so it's blue again and I shot this picture to prove it. :p
