Auvergne - Landscapes

We have seen some pretty beautiful landscapes in Auvergne. It's a beautiful place with lots of greenery, mountains and old dormant volcanoes.

Lots of roman churches.

Auvergne - Pont Menat

In May, just before I started work again, my Grand Pa and I went on a trip to Auvergne, in the middle of France.
It's quite a beautiful region but with so many abandonned houses, shops and factories. That's what stroke me the most about Auvergne.
The houses left to rot are often old and beautiful, which is a shame and a heartbreak.

Wild flowers, wild flowers everywhere!

The film broke in the camera while I was rewinding it, and it got exposed to light. It explains why the pictures have these strange colors.

When I'm Bored I...

When I'm bored and home alone, sometimes I cover my face with makeup.
I get a good laugh out of it.
And I love the feeling I get once the makeup is removed. I feel like a thespian who just got off stage after performing a play.
Boredom makes you do silly things...

Spring Was Here

It took me so long to get these pictures developped that spring has almost come and gone.
I haven't been taking as many pictures as I'd like to lately. Something about inspiration escaping me.

Somebody was smoking at the window.

Seeds I found walking the streets of Toronto last september. This picture must have been taken in March.
Yesterday these 'belles de nuit' gave me their first flower. And it was gorgeous.

I'm under the impression that sunny days came early this year and I've been able to enjoy my window since march.
In the meantime I've done quite a bit of gardening for my hanging garden and for my Grand Pa as well.

Hands covered in dirt.

It's been a beautiful spring in Paris. Pretty hot some days. But at least I've got a lot of flowers on my window sill this year from all this sun.
