In December my friend Jess came whole the way from Bretagne to visit me. Last time I saw her was a year and a half ago. It was long overdue.
We visited the places we used to hang around when we were teenagers, and we spent the night at a cheap motel along the highway.

We also exchanged gifts. This is one of the many she got me. A knitting loom! I haven't put it down ever since she gave it to me. I've been knitting like crazy. It's so addictive! She taught me how to and now I'm on a roll making socks. I ordered a couple of larger looms to make hats.
