Mister Castor

As I blogged about yesterday, I got another commission order for a painting.
The lady wanted a beaver with 'Mister Castor' ('Mister Beaver') written somewhere and a heart.
The picture above is the preminary drawing I did in my sketch book and here is the actual painting:

:)

I also found this drawing in my sketch book that I haven't shared. So here it is:

I got inspired by the picture of a doll on etsy :)

Commission Paintings

How exciting!
A sweet lady asked me for two custom pastel drawings! I did one for her a few weeks ago and now she wants two more!

Here they are! The two Geishas I did! :) I hope she likes them.

And here is the first one I made for her about a month ago.
I also got a message today of another lady who wants me to do a beaver painting! I hope it will work out because I would love to do that.
You can find all of my paintings here.

Day 25 - Tea and Stars

I'm very happy with my drawing for day 25. :)

I found a great blog with very inspiring pictures the other day, and one of the pictures inspired me this drawing. :)
The blog is Marguerite Gisele. And here is the original picture:

I love getting inspired by pictures over the internet! It's not the first time it happened to me recently. I stumbled upon this picture by Love Elycia :

And did this:

It's fun to do and the result is always so different from the picture. I should do that more often. :)

Now, it's cutie pie time :)

Day 11 and 12 - Fun Fair Girl, Geisha and Ballerina

I tried to catch up with my water color drawings. I did 3. I'm not really happy with them but I have more ideas for my sewing so...

This is the one I did for Day 11.

Day 12.

Day 12. I just hate this one... I wanted to paint a tutu. The drawing is just awful.

Here's the drawing I'm the happiest with. It's pastel on canva. :) Pastels are fun!

Today's Work. The purse is the best I've done so far! Everything is straight and in place. :)

And here's a picture of my nails :p Just because! :p For once they are all even! I used my favourite nail polishes, the golden one and the gold glittery one.
I feel weary tonight...Probably because I work so hard every day on my shop and the results are so far from steady.
Well, tomorrow I'm seeing my gal pal Estelle; it will do me good. :)
Next week I planned to go get more fabrics, because I used up all of the velvet. I use it to make bags. I want to make more bags!! And shopping for fabrics is so much fun.

Most pictures were taken by my boyfriend, he wants me to credit him. :p
It's done now.

Saturday Drawings, New Goal

Spent the afternoon drawing while watching (listening would be more exact) to the Simpsons...

Here are a bunch of pastel drawings I sprayed so they won't run. My hands are still all sticky.

I started this brand new sketchbook by Paperchase today. I love this brand, it's really fun and pretty.

Here is the first drawing I did...

And the second one, step by step.

What a mess!

Meanwhile, my cat was napping in his travel cage :p

Well, the purpose of this blog was at first to document my life in a new house. But the plan I had thought of didn't work out. We're staying where we are in a tiny apartment.
So instead, I'll try to keep this blog as a journal, hopefully every single day, with each creative thing I've done during the day.
It would be great if I could make something with my hands every single day!
