Open Streets TO

One of my favorite moments in Toronto.
On a sunday, the city closed a bunch of streets to cars and they became open to pedestrians and cyclists only for a few hours.
We walked up Bloor street and Yonge without a car in sight. It was quite something. Such big streets we were able to walk in the middle of.

We started quite late so we had no time to waste and finished in the nick of time both portions of Bloor and Yonge that were open.

It was so nice, at a few spots people were dancing in groups. Huge smiles on everyone's faces, a gorgeous sunny day in the heart of Toronto.

These guys rocked. Unfortunately I was unable to catch their name or take a decent picture of them. But they had such a great energy.
